What is this? Bottom of the boat starboard side

On a cosmetic note, pretty sure my fitting is black and protrudes less. Not had an issue with it.

Just like plastic suppers had no chance of cracking and sinking your boat. Sorry but this is poor engineering

True but this thru hull is much more robust then those scuppers were. To each their own, I will worry about it when the time comes.

I'm not trying to argue, but they could have at least made them metal. I wonder how accessible they are if you did have to change it.
I'm just wondering why they chose to put them on the bottom rather than on the back of the boat under the water line.

I agree, My other thru hull fittings are brass and most of the other wakeboard boats are stainless or brass. They put them on the bottom so you can fill while underway. My last AR230 would fill a bag when moving 15 mph. And they are in a good accessible spot in the engine bay to turn the ball valve.
