190 engine compartment keeps opening while hauling

Let us know. Same story adjust replace latch and see. Talked to scarab as well. They don't seem to accept this is a problem. That is a bit disappointing. Best of luck. I will be posting some pics. Our gel coat is cracked and possibly the fiberglass as well from what i can tell due to this happening

That sucks man.

Do you have a picture that is farther away so I can get a point of reference? I want to check my hatch out in the same location.

I don't know about you but I feel the hatch flying open could launch a small kid from the rear seat....Scarab will care then.

Dealer came and got it tonight for fixes. We'll see.
 
Dealer replaced the latch and added two additional bungee straps. Engine hatch has not involuntarily flown open at all since.20170722_123552.jpg
