2018 Bimini Christmas Toy Drive

Despite the rough seas the Bimini Toy Delivery was a success. The Boondoggle crew stuck it out, persevered and brought joy to 500 kids! I hear reports that our very own @JROD has started a new career as a fire trucking riding Santa. I am hoping that he will jump in next year. Perhaps @Kevin Sargent will arrive as Santa in Frogman style?

@Bruce, the Santa gig was a last minute thing, but very humbling and heart warming experience. We tend to forget that kids really believe and after the 1st 3 year old hug and "Santa you really here" and "I love you" last thing I ever want to do was screw that up. Kids kept asking me questions, but I could not answer for fear of my not so Oxford English accent. ;-) Trudy came promptly to the rescue and
told me not to talk! ;-) I am amazed that my deep voice HO-HO-HOs and Merry Christmas with my Cuban accent went over so well. LOL
Man, doing a water jump in to Bimini dressed as Santa with some of my ABN Bros would be a dream come thru!
