A Double Intro

Hi all,

I have a double intro, new to this Forum and am FINALLY a new (and first time) 2014 Yamaha 242 LS boat owner!! I signed the paperwork yesterday and will pick it up next week. I am glad I bought before the boat show in Tampa happened next weekend but still got the boat show deals. They have pre sold much of their inventory they got in just for the boat show already.

I love the new forum and will undoubtedly be asking some stupid questions and for help as I get to know my new toy!!

Thanks again to all for helping me make my decision. I'll post pictures as soon as I get her out on the water!

LOL, me too!! I even wrote a check for the full purchase price including taxes and I have heard for a month "it's going to be another two weeks." Part of that has been my fault since I screwed some of my options and ended up asking to change colors from black to blue." So what color did you go with?

I went with the black but struggled with the decision for a variety of reasons like maintenance etc but it was the color that struck me first so I went with my first impressions in the end. I will keep everyone posted if works out or not but I cannot imagine being too unhappy about it. After all, its a Yamaha and I'll be on the water! How bad could that be???

Were so glad to have new Yamaha owners! Welcome aboard @Lester! You will love the members here, just like the old place...same faces, same knowledge, and same friendships. The new forum however will be vastly different, both in management style and features! Post up your questions and be patient, we are all learning our way around this forum and getting used to how we organize the way we keep track of it. I could fly around the other one and soon, will be able to do much more here. Glad you have found us and again...welcome aboard!
