Anyone leave their boat uncovered for many days?

I went to an upholstery shop and had them add a round zippered opening right above and behind the steering wheel thats just a bit bigger than my head, as well as a large zippered "door" over the swim deck. Now we can enter through the door, close it up behind us after shimmying in, and I just stick my head out of the round hole at the helm and off we go. The sun never sees our interior.

Having a zippered opening at the back is a REALLY GOOD IDEA!!! I've NEVER left my phone on the boat then covered her up completely and had to crawl in to retrieve it!
