My friend is thinking about getting one of these for our week-long lake trip next summer. Has anyone tried this thing yet?

Looks like it could be fun for the kids and others who don't wakeboard. If you can board I would think this would be boring.

Not us - but very interested to hear about the RAD or FAD. Looks like something that would be of interest if it is as easy to enjoy as the video shows. Especially for Billy our pet goat - he refused to wake board or knee board and all he wants to do is lay around on a tube

That does look like fun for something different to have in the toy box. I would be interested in seeing how small they get when deflated to see how much room they take up.

Also looking online here's a run down of (approx.) what they cost:
FAD: $330
RAD: $350
RAD+: $500

Haven't tried one, but my wife and son want one in a bad way. We've ridden the wooden discs, which are very easy to ride. Having a softer, collapsible version would be a blast.

I am thinking I will just try one of these instead.
