I'd like to hear from those who have these speakers. Are they any good?
I have their home speakers and pretty happy with those.
(No Bose flame please, I know they're overpriced but I still like them.)

I had then on a cruiser.... not a jet.... nice sound but need to be amp'd up if you want tom hear them under load..... would check power rating..... I now only use JL Audio 6.5" and 10' subs. Also only use JL amps.

I didn't know Bose made marine speakers either. They probably sound great but at $238 a pair I will never know how they sound in my boat.

No anti-Bose bias here. I have Bose 901s in my exercise room and Bose theater speakers in several bedrooms plus their table radio/CD players. Own several pair of their headphones and earplugs. Big fan. Great for the right application.
However, in the case of the Bose 131 I believe there are far better choices, like a JL Audio 7.7" for example.

I love Bose and I imagine they sound good but stick with the JL line when it comes to marine. I'm thinking Bose got into the marine speakers only because a bunch of the top executives wanted them on their boats/yachts. :)

I had a pair in my old Exciter, nothing compared to the Polks.

I too am an avid Bose fan and have had everything from bookshelf to 901's, and had several cars with Bose systems. In my boat, it is JL Audio all the way.
