Anybody have experience with a bean bag for the boat? Recommend any particluar brand, size, shape, etc? We'll be taking our annual ~4 hour intracoastal trip through some bouncy bays but this time with a 1 year old. I'd like to keep her ride as pleasant as possible.

Ps- I'm thinking that baby will be sitting on mom who is sitting on the bean bag, so looking for what would be best for mom and accomodate baby.

Esea rider is designed exactly for that to make ride as smooth as possible I plan to buy on next year.

I really hate sites that won't let you check out their products without giving them your info! Grrrrr

I have used cheap Wal-Mart round bean bags. They lasted for two years with boat and home use. After that they needed to be doubled up for boat use.
I bought a couple chair style that I found at Wal-Mart this year. They were cheap. Like $30 each. Pretty decent for the $. I looked into getting a couple more. But couldn't find any ... They worked well, and if I can get a couple years out of them, perfect.
One nice thing is, if they get ripped off I'm out $60 instead of $250..

I wondered about just buying cheap store ones....probably the best approach for one week a year (really two days a year---the outbound and return bimini trips)

I have 2 of those at home. I test it today.

Ocean tamer makes quality bean bags too. West Marine bags fall apart kinda quick for the price. Just a little more and you end up with a quality product from ocean tamer or e sea rider. They usually offer boat show specials of 10-15$ off but you can sit and check them out.

I have the E-Seariders and love them.

I was going to order one in red do you think this will get hot in the sun?

Well my wedge e-sea rider chair arrived today it's pretty comfortable appears to be made of high-quality material I probably should have ordered the small instead of a large as this one seems a little wide for where I plan to use it in the boat.

I think I will order a few for the kids, even if it's just for the house. They seem easier to clean then a traditional bean bag chair, also love that they actually have a back on them.

Where are you planning on using it in the boat?
