Funny I was thinking the food pile was too small. Can't catch wings, pizza and beer in the ocean lol.You can cut down on food if you use the boat to catch some food

Insurance-mine 700-also variable - mine is for a 72k boat in NC
Maintenance-200 year
Gasoline--variable (depends on how much you use it)- probably 1k-1.5k for us this year
Mods--$800 so far....many people do none.
Hanging with @tim h much? You can cut down on food if you use the boat to catch some food
Yup....that is correct for me. Your insurance cost will depend on age, insurance history, amount insured, where you live etc. Your maintenance cost could be higher if you don't do your own maintenance or damage the boat.Thank you for the quick reply Mr. Julian 700 a year for insurance and 200 a year for maintenance is that correct?
Sorry not understanding 10% of the boat value?10% per year works close for all kinds of boats.
I think the general consensus is that you can expect to spend 10% of the value of a boat every year, on the boat. Depends how you use it of course, but insurance, fuel, maintenance, repairs, and general boat-related nonsense costs that always creep into your wallet. Yamahas are better in this department, especially with regard to maintenance and the very low cost associated with winterization.Sorry not understanding 10% of the boat value?
