Building a new Mini Jet boat- feedback?

Hi Jet Boaters I do hope all is well,
I've been developing mini jet boat for the small rivers near my home,
it's got plenty of the fun factor, and a touch of danger if you push things too much,
I made the jet units and the kayak is from Pyranha Kayaks,
I've had it up to 50kph but not hit any ramps at that speed,
Here's a video of some of the recent moments,
the music is a bit Rocky, I will do a smoother music video soon,
but it's still in it's adolescent stage at the moment :0)

Very cool looking (I pulled this out of the welcome thread as it will get missed and buried there).

Looks really interesting! I've been idly eying the jet surfboards for a while - just more than I can justify. I wonder if this could be modified as a stand up too?

What an inspiration! I have been trying to do that with my 212X for years. Maybe I will start smaller with a mini jet.

in his youtube channel it shows the jet assembly (carbon fiber tunnel) and electric motor.

Here is one where you can see the older design it is much clearer, it shows inside of the jet. more recent one have carbon fiber

Wow Wee, Cheers for the very warm welcome Gents
and cheers Julian for putting the post in a better place for me,
I did have the drive-units on a surfboard to start with but the water quality
at the local park and rivers is a bit brown and I was drinking too much of it,
and inhaling it at times, it not so much like Malibu, it's more like full of poo, but my immune system kicking,
Since the boat first hit the water I was hooked on the experience,
the boat has two 53mm drives, two brushless inrunner-motors 56mm diameter 112mm length,
I would like to try them on a gas/petrol setup in the future, but I might make a bigger drive unit if I get a bit of
good luck and that will simplify the build, it's just finding the time to do these things,
I've had to put making the drive-units on hold for a bit due to the pending economic collapse and my shed
get's red hot if I turn the lights on, what wonderful weather we are having
I will do a video of the boats internal workings soon now that it's finished off to a good state,
I'm just decompressing a bit and trying to get back to a bit of normal,
I have had to endure a level of abstinence while on the build, it' been different

Watched a few of them from points over the last 10 years as you progressed along your journey.....amazing!!! So do you sell complete kits or just parts? Is your plan to begin to sell completed Kayaks and/or surf boards?

Thanks Weeb it's a lot more fun now the purgatory in the shed is starting to fade in memory
I do hope to squeeze some more fun from it as I get a bit braver and familiar with its behaviour,
I still don't really know what I'm dealing with though, Cheers mate

Thank you Julian, I do hope to be selling again soon and have some boxes with fitted drives and motor mounts in,
it's a slow prosses on my own but I am looking to fix that soon
I've some sheeting coming tomorrow to try-out on the boat that could be a nice touch for simplifying a boat conversion,
once I've got it sorted I should be back in the shed making drives,
yes there has been a lot of tiny steps along the way but they do add up if you keep going, and the ocd helps
I was supposed to building model-boats as a hobby thing and packing-in dangerous sports, Whoops
