Yea that thing is bad to the bone !!!!

yeah, they are. Ask me how I know....

got my doors blown off by one with the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 (485 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. of torque). I can only imagine what this sucker will do with 707 HP!

I want one but I know that the car would spend its entire life plotting to kill me.

YOU, my friend, are a smart man. I was watching Jay Leno in his McLaren P1. Stupid fast. I would love to drive that....but I don't think my heart could take it.

I feel the same way. I had to get rid of the AMG because the constant temptation was too great. :woot:
Its weird how now that I can finally afford the cars I've always wanted, but now I don't want them because I couldn't handle that much adrenaline :nailbiting:

The Z06 will still give it a good run for it's money, maybe I need a supercharger now :winkingthumbsup"

That's crazy talk. There's no "maybe" about it! :D

(Man I wish I had the wallet to back up my love for all things muscle-car. Alas, I have to watch from a distance.)

That much power is less impressive when installed into a tank/Challenger, so to speak.

The auto club in Sun Valley Idaho sponsored a Rally last year - they were able to close 3 miles of highway north of Ketchum and let the entrants let their cars go as fast as they could ... the 3 Bugatti's that entered took 1,2, and 3rd place - all with a top speed of around 219 mph in 3 miles. There were actually 5 Bugattis in town for the rally, but only 3 entered the race. We saw 3 of them at the Sun Valley lodge the evening before the event, each had a sticker price of around $2.1m

The 4th place went to a Porsche Panamera (I think). I know that 2 years ago, there weren't any Bugatti's entered, and the Porsche Panamera took first.

This reminds me a bit of the Dodge Omni GLH-S and the Buick GNX with the intercooled turbo setup from a couple decades ago...

Yes, it will fly in a straight line, but will it turn or stop? :)

I realize the above is blasphemous to some in the muscle car crowd. Just made me chuckle a bit as I recalled a Car & Driver quote about the GNX. Something along the lines of "a 150 mph street legal rocket with GM parts-bin-special 85 mph brakes. What's not to love?" ;)

I wonder what the insurance bill is for a 2.1 Million dollar car that goes 219mph.....

Answer....if you have to ask....you can't afford it! LOL

Reminds of this story from a few years ago of a guy here in Utah that won a Lamboghini:
http://www.deseretnews.com/article/700209005/Utah-man-wins-Lamborghini-crashes-it-hours-later.html

Later reports indicate that he maybe he intended to total the car; he had to mortgage his house to pay the taxes and get the car insured ...

yeah, but you can't reach back and smack the kids in the corvette!

That is very true, I can reach back and grab a snack though :D

You got more room than I got, I had to move the passenger seat forward to put the window shade back there!
at least my armrest compartment is air conditioned to keep my water bottle cold. :p

I'm thinking about that new 'lectric SUV Tesla has coming out.
