Not sure if this is something the new boats do, or if their digital gauges display the codes in "writing", but the older 230's use flash codes on the warning lights to send you a message. Here are the flash codes it can send:

01 No malfunction
13 Incorrect pickup coil signal
15 Incorrect engine temp sensor signal
18 Incorrect throttle position sensor signal
19 Incorrect battery voltage
23 Incorrect intake air temperature sensor signal
24 Incorrect cam position sensor signal
29 Incorrect intake air pressure sensor signal
48 Incorrect data transmission
54 Incorrect bypass valve motor signal
63 Incorrect intake air system signal
68 Malfunctioning No Wake sensor/switch

Found this info....I'm pretty sure this is for the newer boats.....(perhaps the 1.8s and TR1s only?)

Error 75 means that there is not enough water pressure in the engine cooling system. If the engine is running with the boat on plane there is no issue as enough water pressure is present to have the engine run normally. The engine will not go into "NO Wake" mode as a self protection feature. This could be indicative of a damaged impeller or failed coolant pressure switch regardless of whether water is seen coming out of the pee holes.

There may also be a high temp lockout on the new boats. Cycling the battery power should reset this. Rare that this happens but one to remember. Cam.

Here are the error codes for 15,16,17 1.8l Connext boats in spreadsheet format. This is in addition to the communication errors and such that pop up on screen. These seem to be inline with what @Julian posted above for other years plus a bunch more.

I have a code 206 which is not in your list in the attachment. Any ideas? Obviously looks related to the catalyst system in CARB boats.

if the code is still happening you should be able to just turn your key to "on" position and the lights should flash the sequence,
if not, if the problem is still happening you could read it with a YDS unit, the YDS will also store "old" codes with an hour reading of the event, I read the hours on an engine with a hole in the block

On context boats, you can access Troubleshooting menu of the computer by pressing and Holding CTRL button for 5 seconds. Only downside that you can only see one error code. sometimes there can be more than one issue.

So do I count the light flash on each light? So when it happens the engine light flashes and the overheating flashes. It never goes into limp mode. It’s also intermittent. 🤷🏻‍♂️
