Gonna create an 80’s female band/singer playlist for my girlfriend:

Bananarama
The Go-Go’s
The Bangles
The B52’s
Frida
Heart

I’ll admit that I like these songs just about as much as she does. :)

I can't recall (nor does it matter), but just making an "all-female" list seems to require that 4 Non Blondes song

We have a crazy rotation of everything from country to rap, rock, and whatever in between. It just has to be clean or a clean version, my girls are 7 and 10.

Beach Boys, The Outfield, Daft Punk, The Wallflowers, Leon Bridges, and Post Malone are just a few of the artists on rotation. My hands down favorite group for just chilling out music though is The Midnight. They are a modern synth group but if you grew up in the 80's it will sound like every song you ever knew. "Los Angeles", "Sunset", and "The Comeback Kid" are a few of their best.

Such a great voice

Everything from Rage Against the Machine "Killing in the Name" , Elvin Bishop "Fooled Around and Fell in Love", Average White Band "Cut the Cake", to Marley

Castaway - Zac Brown Band
All About It - Dylan Marlowe (new song june 4 2021)

My boat playlist has to be kid-ear friendly so it trends way more country than my general listening preferences. As previously mentioned, lots of Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Chris Janson, Niko Moon, Luke Bryan.

Also has some Darius Rucker (his newish "Beers and Sunshine" is a good one), Kid Rock (I've got to be careful to get the clean versions), Bob Marley (great side-story: I was playing Marley one time in a cove near a campground and this older gentleman came out to his tied up boat. I walked back to the boat and was going to ask if he wanted me to turn it down a little, but before I could ask he complimented my music, said he was a musician himself, and had once played at the same festival where Marley was playing).

One I get a kick out of is Pontoon by Little Big Town.
