May be a dumb question, but am I missing something here? This net just hangs loose, doesn’t seem like there’s a purpose to it.A8619270-89CE-42EC-95B4-1CC80228849F.jpeg

I bought a black trash can that fits and the net holds it in place

It really only holds when there's stuff in it. However I pulled some of the slack in the bungee and tied a loop and it's been holding well.

What they^^^^ said.

We use it for an Ozark cooler, it's perfect:
What a fantastic little cooler for day trips!
Holds cold drinks, without any extra ice, cool for a day in moderately hot temps. 24 can capacity.
Waited to post until we used it a couple of times. Great value and it FITS! snag in that silly spot in the new 240/242s:

Ozark Trail Premium 24-Can Cooler - Walmart.com

I put the fabric edging through the hooks, provides enough friction to keep it in place when not in use.

I put a Trash Can there ...with a lid on it or trash will fly out when you are underway

Trash can here too.

What size can?

I use a charcoal container with hinged lid.

Black trash can here. Eyeballed the size and keeps it secure. Works great.

My first thought with it though was beach towels.

If you all have pictures it would be great! Thanks for all the responses. We’ll be putting this area to use today!

The net is absolutely huge..i've asked my dealer about it being the 'correct one' several times. They've assured me its right!

Glad to see these ideas.

I had shared these pictures previously, just couldn't find a solution!

I used black zip ties to secure the cord to the hook, to keep the net in place when the beach bag isn’t in place. Otherwise, we are currently using for beach bag, towels, etc.

Not the easiest thing to do, but once there, actually a great fit. We decided to do 2 coolers today (1 here and the regular Yamaha provided Igloo under the seat) to relieve space on board as I have 2 other families joining us. This seems to work out so we don’t have to bring along the big honkin’ 65 YETI and take up a bunch of space!7B46618B-2B29-4A96-A03E-ABF1065090E8.jpeg7B46618B-2B29-4A96-A03E-ABF1065090E8.jpeg

I double mine up and it works great. I usually have aluminum drink bottles behind it, and you can put something in between the two layers
