I see photos like the one attached but no one seems to know what is required to mount. Where does that bar come from and how do you attach the grill to it.

That is the table leg. I bought a second one as it is nice to have the table up at the same time you BBQ and it takes 15 minutes for the grill to cool down. I have a 19’ so I had to add the leg bracket to the transom. I know the bigger boats already have that bracket back there but maybe not the 275 because it has the swim up seats/tables. Someone else may know. Get a Magma grill and they sell bases that you can attach that slide right over the factory table leg. The one in this picture uses the rod holder attachment inside the leg. Don’t get that one. Get the one that goes over the leg. Much stouter and you don’t have to jerry rig it.

Magma Products part T10-375. This will bolt to the bottom of the grille and just insert it into the table post.

That’s the part I would stay away from. They actually make a round collar mount that goes over the leg instead of inside. All the people I’ve seen using this one have to wrap it in tape or put pvc inside the leg to fill the gap and make it work.

Reference this post for the right part:

I've been using it for 6 years without any problems. As you tighten it the stem expands.

Very helpful replies. Looks like sbt-npgrl-mt-14 is the right mount. And that tube is the table leg thanks! While we are on this thread any suggestions for a mini bbq kit to flip burgers etc? Trying to be streamlined. And only have bbq on boat (stowed beneath seats), cooler I bring with food, and maybe a small kit with utensils that I can bring back and forth (to clean?). Or a kit to keep on boat. Would love to know someone’s streamlined organized routine so I don’t become a pack donkey!

I am not all familiar with all the surfaces on a 275...but here is another line of thinking for mounting a grille. I don't know if you fish or not, but adding a rod holder in the right spot on the boat might, kill two/three birds with one stone, for much cheaper and you do not have to store the leg. With the rod holder you could catch dinner trolling, set up a cutting board in the holder and then the grille to cook the catch. On the Yamaha, we have been using the Magma setup on the swimplatform you see in my avatar for 4 years. Our Beneteau had a rail mount grille that needed to be moved. So, after considering the new Yamaha mount and table leg, I added a rod holder and mounted the magma rod holder mentioned above to our Napoleon infrared grille. Worked great on the grille but have not caught dinner yet. Another thing to consider is placement. I did not have to worry about gas fumes around the grilling area. Diesel boat.

With this set up we can cook from the cockpit or mount it facing the swim platform and stand up and cook.

Magma also makes a extendable grill tool set. They come in their own bag and are real nice! My wife got them for me as a gift!

Slickstick did a good job, but sadly, his list is incomplete. Add sausages, burgers, and invite us over too. We'll bring beer.

Check out the prices at magma.factoryoutletstore.com/. We found most of our parts there for considerably less.

Thank you for all the helpful replies.

Yeah, that is a great mount, as it swivels and allows you to level the grill.

The only problem is that it is only designed to be used on diameters less than 1-15/16". The factory table leg has an ID larger than that, thus it won't tighten up.

BTW, I'm the guy that makes the grill stanchions that work with this pole mount (JEWLS Customs and also sold on my sister site aToolCrib, Etsy, and Ebay).

I just started offering the stanchions in powder coated colors to match up with your boats colors.
