@Water Girl I hope after 3 hours of footage will not feel left out

Anyone going to the Sapona tomorrow and have room for three orphans? My best friend would like to make the historical plunge! Will pay.

So far loving the video @Betik ! I'm just now at the first regrouping. Great job in the radio and I would have felt comfortable crossing with you as the leader. Those waters looked great and my 192 wouldn't have had any issue aside from dodging those massive seaweed patches. Going back to watch some more...

Um, so at 31 minutes it jumps back into the intercoastal way? and restarts?

nevermind, different camera, same action.

Ya'll need some earbud pieces for those walkies!

So who is giving @Hamp a ride tomorrow???

And where are the photos of today???? We need photos!!!! We need to live through you while working....come on folks!!! :)

The facebook "site" got a couple videos. I know cuz i shared them to mine since i was there both times!

Amazing day today. Started late after World Cup soccer game watching :) two airplane wrecks for some snorkeling. Then the best moment of the day on the way back caught some dolphins on video near north Bimini. Check out the rainbow in the sky as well. Quick two minutes with iMovie on my Phone. End of the video has a couple of shots of the sunset earlier today.

The good looking part of my family (not me, ha!) Seeing where we can find for dinner!
The conch salad decided not to show.
The petite conch closed early.
Thirsty turtle was busy and smokey and we ate there last night. Basically everything closed because it's their independence day.
@Bruce was even kind enough to run us down the road to see what was available.
I was kind enough to help push back when the cart ran out of gas, lol!
Edit: my wife filled her entire samaung s7 memory already with video and pictures. We cleared it when we left!

Check out Big John's in North Bimini if this happens again quick little boat ride out of the marina no issues coming back in the dark just go slow. I also highly recommend just pulling your boat up to Luna Beach right across from Three Sisters rock there is a restaurant right there that is part of Resort World that is nice you can walk right up in bathing suits and order food so late afternoon before returning to the Sands is great. just anchor a little off the beach in about 3ft of water here are some pics.

@robert843, I took a group to Big Johns last year and was swarmed with flies the entire time. Blue Water has an indoor restaurant that I hear good reports on and my experience with Big Game Club is that they have the flies under control. However I do not believe that anyone beats My Three Daughters for the combination of quality and value.

We had a group of 14 of us that had a very enjoyable bug free dinner at Big John's this year so they must have theirs under control as well. I had never been that was my first time and I didn't even know anything that nice existed on Bimini outside of resort world. We looked for My Three Daughters based on prior recommendations the day we rented a golf cart in North Bimini and we could not find it I will need better directions I guess next time. I still think my fav stop was Luna it was just to convenient to be able to anchor right off the beach and walk up and order a burger and drink with out going back to the condo and getting ready to go out. I have not tried Blue Water or Big Game maybe next time but those I talked to that went to Big Game this year were not impressed at all.

Just had to get more epic wakeboarding photos this morning. Go pro video will be edited and posted later. My son did a decent job of getting close to the sapona with me in tow too. One handed surface 180 switch to crosscut in front of the sapona is pretty cool. Perhaps tomorrow we can get a bunch of people ballast and get some epic aerials but need some early risers.

I last saw the Sapona 15 years ago, man has it deteriorated. My father was our Council Chairman and organized his own "high Adventure" trip for our Boy Scout group. 12 kids on a 60' sailboat from Miami to Bahamas for a week. He was squeeing like a little girl when he heard about ya'll doing this trip. Do ya'll go to the island with the blue hole? (Freshwater sauce for Nassau).

I have gone for the last 7 years and to me it is shocking how much the Sapona has deteriorated, only image the change you have seen.

Do you have any more info on the island with the Blue Hole that supplies fresh water for Nassau? I know of numerous Blue Holes around the Bahamas but not any close to Bimini.

Andros Island, not sure where we went on there.
We also went to the real Margarittaville.
Basically, sail (under diesel power) from miami to bimini the first night, check in with customs in the morning. then day at sapona, that night travel to andros. Get to andros in the morning.
we always traveled at night. spent the day wherever.
