Has anyone used the ballast pumps to support a livewell on the boats? I have a live well that I bring on board with me when fishing. With current setup and a CC boat it works well using the raw water washdown to continuously fill and rinse the live well and keep the fish alive.
I've been thinking that using a diverter valve and another length of tubing off the ballast fill line might be a good substitute to this approach. THe pumps have there own controls, and if I put in a diverter valve that I can direct to either the live well, or the ballast, then it should theoretically work! or are the ballast pumps too high of a flow?
