Hello All,

I have been lurking on the site for over a year now and it is great! We had a fiberglass Sylvan with an outboard for about 12 years and did several years of boat patrol before that. (I think I wrote one ticket in all the years) The wife wanted something just a little bit bigger and we found Yamaha! We looked at a boat show and she was sold on the AR190. We were all set to buy a 16 at another boat show but the guy we were dealing with was busy. We decided to look around and found another dealer with a left over 14 at a price too good to pass up! Bought it and have loved it ever since! I would have loved the forward swept tower but it probably wouldn't have fit in the garage at the cottage.

We boat on Lake Winnebago near home and Caldron and High Falls flowages up north.

At one of our closest lakes to us, their lake patrol actually has a jet boat too.

Welcome to the party. I think @biglar155 is up in your neck of the woods. Perhaps you guys could meet up this summer.

@N140 Congrats and welcome. My wife grew-up in Wisconsin in the town of Oconomowoc. When she told me where she was from when I first met her I thought she was making it up. Turns out, it's a real place and a really nice one at that!

Welcome to the club that your wife and banker will learn to hate. We have a slight affinity to encouraging mass impulse purchases.

Enjoy the new Yamaha and send us pics!!
