I happen to totally agree! LolThe guy obviously prefers his ballast to be of the boxed, lead acid variety.
I think you are missing the point, David. This is one of those guys that, in the process of trying to show how big his dick is, proves how big of a dick he is.From a practical side (oops. too late.), how about when you tow the boat? Those forward facing collectors getting gunked up with bugs inside the horn tweeter compression chamber and in the midbass voice coil gap. No way to clean out some of that. Or, how about the air pressure at highway speed funneled against the fragile titanium tweeter diaphragms. Or, cover every speaker.
I don't see an ounce of creativity in any of that.
If they knew anything about sound, they could do so much more with so much less.
