I had the best of intentions on getting most of my list done over the winter. However, it was unusually cold in Atlanta, so I have a few things to get done this spring now.

x2 mike. I'm just starting to order my boat upgrades for this year and now I'm finding I need to prioritize them since I probably won't get to them all before the "season" starts. My excuse/downfall was getting into quadcopters and video editing instead. If you haven't already, consider buying a used stock bimini from a 242 ls and modifying it to be used as an extension. It should be cheaper and easier than building from scratch and should also match in color perfectly.

On the TCL65 wheel chock lock, all you have to do to steal the trailer with it installed is to Jack up the trailer remove the locked wheel and install the spare. It slows them down but I think a simple tongue lock would work better as a lock and a couple of bricks would be better chocks.

You have the 1800 engines, I found a small diameter hose just below the exhaust manifold that I replace hose clamps on last year, to my surprise the hose is an oil line, this gave me an idea of using a brass t and running a drain hose with a cap to close it off during normal operation, using this hose I believe you could make a simple drain to change oil similarly to what you described. just passing this along for your benefit.

My 242LS to do list for 2014:
  • Tinted windows
  • Have the Wetsounds Rev 10 Cans hydro dipped (blue flames)
  • Finish hooking up the Guest Battery charger
  • Install the Wetsounds XS650's
  • get rid of the OEM carpet and install Seadek in faux teak
  • install the 65" Veve guides
Then I must stop! Oh, unless I can find a cool set of wake board racks and a nice mirror, lol. But then I am done for sure:winkingthumbsup"
