My Yamaha 190 FSH Review

maybe. Or maybe meet up with a FSH member and see if it'll swap...

Nice cant wait to hear about it.

Yes, lots of pictures and thoughts please.

Congrats..now lets see some pics!:winkingthumbsup"

I'll be curious to see the differences between the prototype and the production model. Like how did they decide to finish the forward storage lockers....and did they decide cup holders were unavoidable?

It looks like they mounted the cup holder tray right where the nav screen goes. :(

Fairly certain that the cup holder has suction cups and it's just been placed in the open spot temporarily.

Yup...it has two suction cups on the back...you can see that exact cup holder in the video I took....can be mounted anywhere on the dash.

@ClemsonTiger are you going to install a fish finder/GPS on the dash?

Hi Julian! Not sure yet... I'm on the preferred waiting list as I paid the $2500 back in early May. I haven't taken delivery yet but I contacted Yamaha and they said it was suppose to ship this Friday. So I'll be paitently waiting. I've been eye balling the hummingbird displays and a few others. Any recommendations?

Thx, Joe

That is a nice looking unit!

@Joey I don't have a lot of experience with GPS/Fishfinder combos, so my view point is poor. That said, I have had Garmin GPSMap units for 10 years now and like them. Their user interface has improved over the years. I currently have a GPSMAP 541, and before that had a 430. My brother had one of their larger units on his Grady White and liked it a lot, but the aren't cheap. Would be nice if Yamaha offered something that could be bought at a Yamaha bulk buy price, but I understand why they don't - as everyone has their preferred brand.

@Julian .....quit looking at his unit!!!

@ClemsonTiger - You can tap the screen in the area you want the camera to focus on. Give it a try. (Sorry if you already tried that)

Thats a sexy boat!

Supposedly my FSH Sport shipped yesterday... Just waiting to hear from the dealer. I've been searching around and West Marine seems to have a good selection of accessories with reasonable prices.

@ClemsonTiger - if you have time would you possibly be able to measure from the ground up to the top of the t-top at the highest point? Just checking for storage reasons.

Still haven't heard anything on my FSH :(

Thanks
Joe
