Hi I just sold a 2003 LX 2000 as my first Jet Boat and I loved it. Wanted to upgrade in size and stay w jet power. Purchased a 2015 AR240. So it has the stock system. I have 4 Revo 8’s and 2 Revo 6’s. No Amps. As the old boat had a working Sony which was decent so I left it in. Now it looks like I’m going to need another pair of Revo 6’s as the AR fits
(4) 6.5 “ speakers. I’m not sure what to do with the 4 - Revo 8’s. Can I put them in cans and turn them into tower speakers ? Has anyone done this ? Does it sound decent? Also thinking of putting in a sub. Any suggestions on wet sound Amps? I know a lot of this varies on taste. I want a nice balanced loud system. But not looking to be the loudest guy on the sand bar.

From what I've gathered, the Revo 8's will work in tower cans, but they won't have the bass output so a sub will be needed to fill in the bass. The 6's are a no brainer for replacement. For the amp look at a 6 channel and use 4 channels for the 6's and bridge the 5&6 channels for the sub. Then add a 2 channel amp for the 8's. Or run the 6 speakers from the 6-ch amp and use a mono or 2-ch bridged for the sub.

There's always options and all of the Wetsounds amps are good.
