New to board from Austin, Texas

Just purchased a FSH 210. Used it twice on central Texas lakes and enjoying it so far. I plan on using it on the coast as well around the Rockport, Texas area. This site is a wealth of information and has already helped out a ton. Any advice form central Texas and Texas Coastal boaters would be helpful.

glad to have you on board, if you've already seen all the info about sealing up the boat be sure to look at the FAQ at the top of the page for lot's of great DIY's, also be sure to view the "how the cooling water flows" it's for a different engine than you have but same principles,

I know this is an old thread. But I live in Austin and new to this forum, and about to be a new owner of a 2019 Scarab 195ID. I wanted the new 300hp offering so had to order. It should be here in March. I can always use some advice, as this is my first jet boat. Super paranoid about sucking up debris that I have heard about. I doubt I will have a slip the first year and may be doing the boat ramp thing on Travis.

I used to live in Spring, TX and then Addicks area. I do like Austin more for sure.
