I have one engine that only rarely will engage the No Wake mode. Is there any quick fix for this?

could be low voltage on your battery, we've seen that before, I can't remember which side it normally occurs on,
my boat is very finicky about engaging unless it's in neutral, if the throttles are forward at all it's 50/50 if it will engage.

you could move the switch over from the good one to see if the problem goes away,

It's the starboard side. There is plenty of voltage so that's not it. I'll swap the wiring on the switches on Sunday and see if that's it.

Just fixed mine
The steps I took:
Charged both batteries... didn't work.
Changed the spark plugs..... didn't work.
Swapped the switches to see if one switch was bad..... didn't work.
Swapped by-pass valve motors (circled in upper right corner below) between engines.... didn't work
Adjusted throttle screw circled in the center of the below picture.... GREAT SUCCESS!
I believe it is the throttle stop screw. I rotated it less than a quarter turn in the counter-clockwise direction and now my no-wake mode engages like a champion. If I rotate the screw just a little back in the clockwise direction the no-wake mode will engage for a couple seconds and then quit. If I rotate the screw back to its original position it will not engage at all and shows no indication that it is even trying. You will need the T25 bit in the second picture below to adjust the screw or just a pair of pliers...."

My setup was slightly different as it was difficult to get at the screw. You may have to take off the pump in the upper part of the picture (2006 SX23). very easy to take off.
