Had the same thing happen last Fourth of July at night, but it was a smaller mosquito type and it looked like black pepper all over everything.

I like to call that "every dang weekend" ?‍♂️?‍♂️

A good weekend means only about a quarter of the boat is covered, but it's always a "clean the seats off before we start loading up" situation.
 
First time using the Mission Reef we got at Christmas. I was told I was risking the wraith of the iPhone deities being so close to water, so this is the only pic I got.

We did learn that Yeti can coolers do NOT float, so we’ll need to address that. I’d like a soft sided cooler, and the Mission one looks nice and well sized to fit under the rear seating areas.

These are May Flies. They don't bite. They are just super annoying. They show up for a few days a year. They hatch, breed and die within a couple of days.
 
We had a fantastic Holiday weekend. Ramps were nuts, and the typical dummies were out. However, we steered clear of all that and had a beautiful weekend....

Almost upon us? Jumped in Lake Monroe on Sunday. I screamed. Surfed. Then waited for my nads to drop again. Cooooolllddd

Had the same reaction here, Lake Wallenpaupack was very cold this past weekend. The kids forced me in.... still waiting for my body to warm back up
