Raleigh Area Wake Surfing Club?

OK, not sure if there are others like me that don't get to surf as much as we'd like (all the kids want to do is tube), but while chatting with @sealavie I had an idea....why not set up a "Surf Club"?

General idea is to plan/or wing it, days or evenings where we'd get a few folks together that want to surf and git R Dun! Setting up to surf would be a lot easier and faster if there were more people who could help, and the more people...the more ballast.....errrr....friends we'd have around .

So if you are interested, reply here and we'll get working on it for next season. (no I'm not as hard core as @swatski is and not considering wet/dry suits to surf all winter...but if you are into it...I'll watch!)

I'd definitely drive down for a weekend sometime to ride along. It wouldn't be worth bring my boat since I don't have any surf stuff but I really want to try and will pay in beer and/or gas!!! lol

I do not have a ZUP board. I have 1 surf board, 1 wake board, and 5 tubes!

Oh, well, never mind then. lol I thought you said that you got one a while back. I think I got you confused with @swatski I do that more than you'd like to know when reading old posts. hahaha

@Julian I'm always up for surfing. In the summer, I regularly make after work runs to harris lake for a few hours. Weekends are more of an all day/ weekend event.
