Scupper value

Lol... good one.
I guess I'm a bit self conscious about someone saying "that guys did a bad job on his scupper..." LOL

We're the only people who would notice, and now that you said something about it, we would neeeeeeever bring it up to you! ;) ?

Totally, I'll pick this project bag in the next few weeks and report back to this group my final resolution. Thanks again for the support...!

Gg

How was the final resolution ?

Used the same tool as Drewkaree to get it snug and in combination with a 1/4" rubber bathtub gasket. After installation follow up with some marine silicone to secure the seal and ensure nut would not backtrack itself with boat vibration. Used boat 8 to 9 times this pass season with no issues. Glad I got this done...!!!

I prefer to use 4200 on the scupper valve's. Since you cannot really torque them tight.

I'm doing my hair that day ?

I actually gotta track this down - I can't find my registration card, manual, or on-board tools. I'm hoping I accidentally left them in the boat over winter, or that they're somewhere up north that I failed to check last weekend. Also looking for the tablet so I can update Navionics, or replace it if the battery is shot. I gotta meet up with you anyway to get you back your compound and hand polisher, and see the admiral.

OK, let me know or I’ll just buy the same tool you did. I did buy the same scupper as you and that should arrive today. Probably won’t screw with it until I get the boat in the in/out warehouse in a couple of weeks so no hurry.

We’re always avaiblle if you can fit us into your schedule. :)
