Hmmm, busted I think.

Hey @Ronnie I wonder what the K&N oil filters use. I've used them since almost day one.

I hope this is OK to post here ..........
This is an "insertable" K & N Oil Filter more commonly referred to as a filter "cartridge."
This is typical of what is also inside of K & N "cans" as well. I hope this helps.

Interesting. Years ago on the old site, someone cut one open. Back then, there was fleece inside.

@Bruce , @Julian. You may want to split this topic. On the filters, you all got my curiosity up so I grabbed an old filter (keep in mind I had 5 years worth of filters so not sure what year it was from). The filter inside is FLEECE. I can post a picture this evening. Filter # 69J-13440-01.

I think @Ronnie may have purchased A Knock Off. Noticed his #'s are different. His filter was made in Thailand, mine in Japan. @Ronnie where did you buy your filter?

I bought mine from the local power sports shop (I.e., pwcs, motor cycles, atvs). It is supposed to be official Yamaha and I expected it to be for $25. I've read that Mazda offers an identical filter for 1/2 the price. Recall that this is for a 1.8l engine not 1.052 or 998 mr1 in the pre 2010 boats.

Just tilled my garden and made rows last night, now it's up to my wife to plant!

My son and I did a speed check of one of the rc cars before dinner. The elapsed time is not correct, it took us sometime to put the body on after we started the application. You may not be able to easily tell from the pic but the iPhone is taped to the inside of the cars body.
