I think summer is here in the south. Past two days was 85, and yesterday was the first day I worked outside without my shirt on. Gave the neighbors some eye candy of a fat white guy coming out of hibernation. When I was done, I was a fat red guy..

Warm here too. 60 deg expected later today. Found this crawling on my hand after the dog walk this morning. Found two on the girl dog already this month. Deer tick.

I got this at a local estate sale for $10. It took some effort to clean it up but well worth it considering
what similar bbqs sell for new without the storage bag with wheels (which my wife reminded me of after I carried it to the car). IMG_4662.jpegIMG_4663.jpegIMG_4664.jpegIMG_4654.jpegIMG_4653.jpeg

I’m going to walk down there just to see all of the golf carts. There should be a lot of them, from entry level to super deluxe/full meal deal.

? first world problem for sure or as some that I know say, “WPP” (White Person Problem).
One I’m happy to have.

My view of the sunrise this morning compromised by the updated gas prices. I swear just last Friday gas was at least a dollar less per gallon. Must have just switched over to the “Summer blend”, even though technically it’s still Winter. IMG_4669.jpeg

In the bush yesterday, tapping with a friend around an old sugarhouse on a ridge way out in the woods. Old buckets and syrup pans can be seen as well as modern methods.

Persistence pays off. Started the morning at just over 25 inches. Was running 27.5 inches until another wind storm, last weekend caused dead trees to fall and disconnect the drop tubing from a few taps. I found/fixed those vacuum leaks and a couple more small ones and then I saw this. I run a tight bush, we don’t like it loose.

I'm going to USA in 3 weeks. It always feels weird to go back, but at least I have a new-to-me yamaha 242 waiting for me there. I will trailer it from NYC to Florida so at least I'll have my boat a little closer to Colombia.

Liking this bike I saw passing through Glendale CA. Disc brakes, duel kick-stand, Isen (sp?) glass canopy, electric assist, dual rear view mirrors, saddle bags, etc.

I’m thinking of participating in my first boat parade.

Finally, I attended a funeral service and was surprised to see this come out and during the internment process. Seemed excessively efficient compared to just the two or three guys with shovels I usually see.
