We have a ramp in NYC and its about 18 miles to the statue of liberty and then theres a place to dock, eat, and have drinks in jersey city. I think with a trip like this I can charge a nice price for a group.
Much more direct! I'm not that familiar with NYC, so I went with some guys from the club out of State Island. It was a long trip but saw the statue which was fun and the back side of Ellis Island. You could definitely make a few trips and make some money.
Finally got around to working on my FILs utility trailer. The left turn signal has never worked and with my new truck it fast blinks when it's hooked up. I can't take that crap. After seeing the years of spliced and rats nest of wires I see why it wouldn't work. Was cheaper and easier just to rip it all out and go with new. The trailer light check feature on my truck is pretty sweet! Also put in some bearing buddies as one side was missing the cover anyways.
nice pic...they're deceptively fast for a bird that size. It's called The Moose due to one of the strange sounds they make. If you see one getting ready to join the seagulls on your canopy, wave it off. They make a worse mess than the gulls.
Well, I'm no expert, but I know I have a picture of a moose around here somewhere...maybe this guy? Tough to be sure in the low light yesterday, but I think I see his rack starting to grow in...
