Wow so sorry to hear about this fisaco. Hard to imagine this happening in your neck of the woods. Almost a daily occurrence here in the QC.

Well this is not the first time for us. Back in 2015 we had the same thing happen but the vehicle went through the house, caught fire & burnt the house to the ground. Not sure how much more of this I can take.

Any chance of some creative landscaping to steer vehicles away? I'm in the city, and somehow some doosh canoe drove almost entirely through my neighbor's house as well, and if it weren't for the hill, stairs & retaining wall, it would have been far worse, and they wouldn't be alive today. Hard to explain the setup, but it took an extreme set of circumstances for that to happen to them, but it sounds like the issue with your area is too common for the road in your area for them not to do something - guardrail, bollards, cables, bigass boulders...something

When I was growing up, and where my parents still live, we were on a corner lot. Everynow and then there would be tire marks going across or through our front/side yard. My dad put some large cool looking rocks, probably 2ft or so tall and spaced them about 6 ft apart across the front and side yard. Also in the corner where the front and side yard met he put a 5 foot tall rock. Of course he had people bring them in with heavy machinery. all the time we would find car parts, like grills and headlamps pieces around the rocks. To this day he finds stuff out there from the night before. A couple of times a wrecked car on the big boulder.

The only downside is that he needs to use the trimmer around them.

No, the pennisula in the middle of the picture is known as Rock Point. Funny! Are you trying to say Hardscrabble hill where we built the "Owles Nest"?

Perhaps a barrier of some kind is in order.
So much for it being a freak accident.

I try to get long ovenights in BTV in the winter and go to Stowe to snowboard, Delta put us in downtown on those overnights, its pretty nice.

Sent the pics to the marina and they intercepted this mechanic on the wrong boat.
They talked to him and set him straight and reminded him on how good their security system was. LOL.

Saw this earlier this morning while walking the local marina. It’s too big for the dry stack so I assume he just got back after hours / after the gates to the parking lot and ramp were closed and locked, so he left it tied up until he could come back for it during normal business hours. Nice looking boat. I’d have a hard time leaving it unattended overnight on a guest dock.
