Or do this, just finished it, I bought a spare tray just in case it was a failed attempt. The sub here slaps! The lid closed tightens up the bass like a bandpass box. If i crack the lid, it sounds and feels like a ported box. I used a wetsounds revo10 fa. I was trying to do two 8s but after mocking up, too much in the way. I'm not too concerned loosing the access hatch, leaked water like a sieve anyway into the lower compartment. Now I got bass on the swim platform that was sorely missing when hanging out the back of the boat.
Or four 8" subs on the wall. (Or eight 8s") Like this. I would put them on the other wall by the the lowered transom backrest. Just not sure I like sub stuck in a compartment and not open to the listing environment.

I don't think there's enough space to do subs where you drew. Need at least 4.5", and the way that wall is molded, the other side after small air gap is the engine compartment and where all the engine controls mounted. Would have to see what the depth is.
Sitting on the back now has plenty of bass even with lid closed. If I open or crack the lid to let the top of of the cone to not be "sealed" I get a ton more volume and middle bass frequencies but honestly a lil over powering for listening taste.

I still have work to due. This was a last minute build before our LOTO trip It's 3 rockville marine 10"s they will be swamped out for Wetsounds soon but they do sound great. So they sound great and really fill the area with bass when the hatch is up. I made three 3/4: shims to hold it open and still be able to walk / or sitting. Next I'm going to redo the whole mounting board. Then I going to port/ vent to behind the lower swim deck back rest.

How high the risers you made? That got you the room ya needed I bet with the exhaust under there.
Porting to outside boat? Gonna have way to seal them? I thought my 1 sounded great, lol you have 3.

What's your idea for porting? I'd love a way to port when I want the additional volume without cracking the hatch, but also want ability to seal so no water gets in when not at rest. U said seat back rests, still trying to picture your idea.
Second the request for the update. Of utmost concern, after pulling this around Jericho 7 times, and then turning it on, to what extent were the walls pulverized.
