Sportjet 175xr2: First Time Rebuild

I have a spare sportjet 175xr I plan to rebuild with my young son (teaching him a thing or two before everything is electric).

I haven’t rebuilt an engine before but I’m mechanically adept and have worked on non-2–stroke before.

Looking for tips on “musts” for the rebuild and what to look for and avoid while rebuilding the 2-stroke V6. Experience is everything and feedback beyond the service manual would be greatly appreciated
