It's good we have some outlets for people like this, it is much more humane than sédation and padded cells.

I was stunned when they said that the crash linked above is the worst accident they've had in 8 years of running this.....looked to me like the sort of event that wheelchair manufacturers would be sponsoring!

The guy in the 1st video that @robert843 posted died I think earlier this year during a ride, though I don't recall if it was during training or a competition.

Those guys are nuts!

Looked it up...he did die....of cardiac arrest while riding uphill. Kelly McGarry
