Now this is pretty cool to have in a MOB situation.

 
Definitely faster/easier than turning a big or sail boat around,
 
Knowing myself, I would probably run the battery down just playing with it at the beach. It looks like too much fun to be a rescue device. I mean, I don't play with the Lifesling on the Bene at all.

Of course you will need to keep your driving skills proficient by frequently using it!!!

I would think every beach community would want these at every lifeguard station. Looks way faster than a swimmer!
 
Remote control lifeguards. We will have one lifeguard station in Omaha and little remote launch stations at each beach.

Then I will have seen it all...
