New to the website!
I previously owned a 2008 212X. I now have a 2012 212X. I had Cobra steering on my last boat....do I need it on the 2012? Also I had Tru-Locks on the clean outs because they would always pop out. Do I need them on the 2012?

@EdTheUte glad to have you on board, not much has changed in the steering and plugs between 08 and 12. If you felt you needed fins get some more, I would question though if you had continual plug popping out, what that is about, always good cheap insurance to get either the cobra ez lock or JBP tru-locks though,

Welcome aboard @EdTheUte ! They added the TDE enhanced directional control in 2012. You may find you can handle it without fins. I have had cobras, and thrust vectors on my precious 230, but I find my 240 is more controllable than it was to start with. Glad to have you with us!
