Just finished AHS Double Feature. Pretty good season.... season finally abruptly ended, but that is my only complaint.

Started Manifest, only a few episodes in but seems good.

We aew spinning our wheels with Handmaid's tale - its a show we both watch so it's holding back other shows we want to watch. Finished season 2 and annoyed with the show and feel it wont gain traction from here but we will see. Next up is "See".

I forgot about the Expanse - It was hard to get into but good for background while working. I will check out the new season.

Claire and I watched the first episode last night and also found it difficult to get into. Doubt if we will watch a second episode. [flag]

Yeah, if I had the expanse on background I would have no clue what's going on.

It absolutely starts slow. Lots of world building. By the end of the season it is a roller coaster going full speed.

Agree 100%.....it isn't a show you can idly watch - and it does start slow as they are trying to build a complex story. I stopped watching it the first time I tried it. Went back and am glad I have.

Had to look up what AHS is! LOL

We were huge AHS fans up until a few years ago and then we just fell off. So we have restarted. It is just such a wild show. Always fun. But invariably never sticks the landing, it always unravels into a mess at the end of all seasons. Just finished the Trump related season and started the one with the nuclear bomb.

Apocalypse had so much potential but I felt fizzled. Overall not bad.

1984 is worth watching but not great, pretty much like a old slasher movie and add in ghosts.

Double Feature - More along the lines of what I like. First half could drag but pretty good IMO. Second half plot had me going every episode, wish the end had more closure. I won't divulge details but there was enough for a full season and not 4 episodes. This season is probably my second favorite. Asylum's being my #1.

Also if you have Hulu - American Horror Stories is worthwhile. One-off episodes, though some are canon to larger universe.

Asylum is best. No doubt. I did enjoy covenant just because of the actresses. They killed it in that season.

American Rust (limited series on Showtime) is quite good. Glad to have Succession and Curb Your Enthusiasm back on.

My whole family enjoyed All In the Family when I was a kid.

?

Started Dopesick on Hulu. Only 4 episodes so far (looks like they come out weekly). Really enjoying it.

We tend to watch a lot of "throwaway" shows like Caribbean Life, House Hunters International - ones where if you get up to do something it's not like you're missing the big plot line, even with TiVo! I do find them fascinating though - sometimes because properties are WAY more expensive than we expected, sometimes WAY cheaper. The only constant is with Caribbean Life - invariably we end up thinking "damn, we should move there"!
For more serious TV we gravitate to British TV shows. Mt wife's "in the business" and can not STAND medical shows, especially OB ones but Call the Midwife is an exception. (I used to torture her with House.)
On a whim we started watching "Unforgotten" a while ago. It's a Brit cop show where they spend a whole season solving a cold case. Great acting. Could not wait for this season 4 - only to be shocked at how the season and the series ended. And on a lighter note there's "Grand Designs" where the host, an architect, looks at crazy home projects. often commenting on things in that British way that eloquently hides an insult in a compliment!

I was watching the Elections in VA and NJ...God Bless VA! Jersey? Still up in the air.

Succession on HBO is fantastic - up to date
Click Bait on Netflix - done
Ted Lasso on Apple+ - watching
Yellowstone - waiting for Sunday night

Dexter is back! Cant wait been a long time to get back to see where he went

Me and the wife just finished season 2 of Black Summer on Netflix very good if you are into crazed zombies

Excited that Dr. Who is back! :D

Been a fan since I started watchig the old show in the mid-80's. When I use to watch the old show, Tom Baker (4th Doctor) was my favorite.

I have also enjoyed all the Dr.'s from the reboot the last 16 years!
