Dexter reboot is awesome so far. I think its slated to just be a miniseries so probably nothing more after this, but at the very least, the season finale of the main show is now tolerable. LOL

Before I go down the road, is Narcos any good on Netflix? No spoilers please.

Narcos and Narcos: Mexico are absolutely fantastic.

Token Colombian here. Narcos is interesting.
On one hand, I actually learned some things that I didn't know had happened with the Colombian cartel stuff. I had to look it up because I thought it was Hollywood fiction. Turns out our government had kept us in the dark on some things. PREPOSTEROUS! lol

On the other hand, I'm never a fan of glorifying these killers. Having lived through lots of that violence.

The Mexico narcos one, who knows? I was in the dark for that. Was fun watch for sure.

Why we even glorified them is be fond my imagination oh yea It is about money. The damage they have done to our country and our families is unforgivable and yet our politicians allow open boarders where they can easily cross. I have seen first hand what these drugs can do to mothers, fathers and their children and it ain't pretty.

Yea it is! I’m on season 2 episode 2 I believe and loving it.

Personally, I don't find that making a movie or television series that features people like Escobar is glorifying them. It paints them in a pretty poor light, and I learned more about the topic watching Netflix than I ever did in school. Naturally there are embellishments, but its pretty accurate to history. Every time something happened where I was like no effing way that actually went down... I looked it up, and sure enough it did.

Terrible things can be entertaining when done well.

Asked about President Donald Trump’s proposed border wall, they seem to agree: San Diego, at least, would benefit more from additional personnel, training and investment in investigative tools like wiretaps and paid informants.​

We have a decent amount of fencing now - so they are tunneling under it instead. We should LISTEN to law enforcement and give them what they ask for.
Also would be good to drive down demand by improving drug rehab availability.

But now I have to add these two shows to my watch list (my "work out watch list" - as I'm going to guess they aren't "wife friendly")

Agree 100%.....it isn't a show you can idly watch - and it does start slow as they are trying to build a complex story. I stopped watching it the first time I tried it. Went back and am glad I have.

Had to look up what AHS is! LOL

Finally finished all of the Narcos Colombia seasons and on episode 3 of Narcos Mexico. So far I’m feeling the Colombia seasons better. I think the actors were better or more compelling but it’s early on the Mexico series. Definitely less Tits and Ass than the Colombia seasons


Also watched The Highwaymen over the weekend. I thought it was a pretty good movie about two Texas Rangers hunting down Bonnie and Clyde. If you haven’t seen it yet I’d say it’s worth a watch.

Who's watching Wheel of Time. Any good?

We have started watching Wheel of Time. Good, not great, but we like it. It can be a little bit slow at times, but an interesting story. We usually binge watch series like this, but the episodes are dropping one at a time, and we are following along. We have seen the first three episodes so far.

I would really like to watch Hellbound on Netflix. We usually cycle through the services and might pick up Netflix again in December. Looks like a good series, but might be a little bit too much 'horror' for the missus.

Anyone watch "Hellbound" on Netflix? The previews looked good, but can't get my wife to watch if its too much "horror".

We are probably going to pick up Netflix again for a month using our $15 credit from the Youtube TV/Disney standoff. We want to watch the new seasons of "Lost in Space", "Money Heist" and "The Witcher". Gotta love streaming services!

We binged the last season of "Lost in Space" in two nights and loved it! Special effects were fantastic, especially for a tv series.

We have also been binging the original BBC version of "Ghosts". Sometimes I forget how much I like the dry British sense of humor. ?
