Ok i will start out by saying I don't own a jet boat YET. Hopefully next summer. I want a yamaha E series. The one draw back it looks to me of the E is you can't do the reverse flush by going backwards full blast (e wont go full throttle in reverse and may not be able to move the reverse buckets with engines off)

Watching people with pwc use the jet thrust to connect (looks like 3 in. Hose) to some foot aperatus to fly through the air. Why can't a twin engine jet boat use same size hose to spray from one jet to the other of course you would need to clamp or have shut off valves on the water cooler lines.

Not sure how exsesable the Jets are sittibg still in the water if they are to far under swim platform maybe you could enginner a peace of pvc with threaded pieces so you could disassemble to carry it in compartment that would fit perfectly in jets with a U shape with a caped off leg coming off U to hold onto from Plat form.

Maybe its not fisabl just a thought. Trying to justify the E

Pretty sure the reverse gates are still operable with the engines off. To do the reverse move you just need reverse momentum....not high speed reverse, and the E-Series has a reverse limit to 3,000rpm which should be plenty to get you going in reverse.

But the tube idea is a good one. A few people do something similar to fill ballast bags.

What's wrong with just using the clean out ports????

Well a lot of people seem to recamed this technique. I'm guessing its for blocks at the intake. Glad to hear the e can still use this. Now to just make sure all the electronics and servos are not problematic.

Thanks all
