You will also want to make darn sure your boat is in tip top condition and not cavitating at all, and getting the best gas mileage possible. Also keep in mind that mileage on flat water is way different than in waves!

Thanks a lot for the info
You guys are awesome!!
No worries one of the cool things about this trip versus Bimini or another out island trip is supplies are very readily available in Abaco. We really did not bring much across in the way of groceries as there was multiple large stores for us to hit there Maxwell's was pretty darn close to being a Walmart. This gives you the ability to travel light I would really only carry an emergency supply of food and maybe 1 dinner for when you arrive but even the store in treasure cay was very well stocked with about anything you could need. If you do stay in treasure cay rent a golf cart to get around it is worth it. I don't think I would stay in Marsh Harbor but I would go there my first full day to buy groceries. All the out islands seemed cool and worth checking out to stay at but treasure seemed the best value and if I was planing a trip there again I would probably stay there again or at least stay there a few days then maybe stay in Hopetown for a few days to check out some of the southern areas. Abaco is huge which makes it tough to do everything you want.

How expensive are the groceries in Abacos compared to USA or even Bimini?

It was more but it wasn't to bad. Probably 20-25% more then US prices in the major grocery store. Was still worth it to not have to pack a bunch of coolers.

@Gadiel We have narrowed down our dates to July 6-7 for launch from West Palm Beach and 15-18 coming back depending on the weather. We are giving ourselves this flexibility in dates. Attached is a rough tracing of our route. We should hopefully be visiting Jetboaters group in Bimini on the way back.

We are a couple of boats (Formula 350ss and a walkaround 23’ with twin Yamaha outboards) with a chap sig 270 as a backup just in case. I should be finalizing the trip and dates by end of February. I got fantastic information about the trip from @Berrie , @Andy S and @robert843 and will follow in their footsteps. Let me know if you need any info. I will be following your trip in June closely.

This was our trip in 2017.
I like @Amar Nanduri 's route, but I think a week is too short for that many places.
Well, I think any trip there is too short, but hey, I'll take what I can get! :D
I think it will take us more than a week to do the trip I mapped @Berrie. I am expecting it to be around 10 days. The advantage we have is that it is an all guys trip without the family in tow and so we can hit hard. Hopefully there won’t be any major delays. I am taking my family to Europe in june and my wife has no more vacation after that. Similar cases with the other guys on the trip, their better half cannot make it.

She wanted to be on dry land @Berrie and opted for Europe this time. That was her requirement for me to be able to go to Abacos :D

@Andy S or @robert843
Where did you guys parked your vehicle and trailers?
We parked at Phil Foster Park which I would recomend. There was a police station at the park so security was good. I think it was $10 a day paid at a kiosk. This was actually our back up launch location as we had planned to launch somewhere else originally but upon arrival we discovered our original launch location did not allow overnight parking. It worked out great though as Phil Foster Park was a much more secure location then the original planned launch.

The one thing about Phil Foster park, 2 years ago when we parked there at the kiosk we were only able to purchase a 7 day parking pass. Now reading their website, Parks & Recreation - Phil-Foster , it says:
"24-hour ramp access and parking available, boat trailer and tow vehicle parking permitted (24-hour period maximum). Boaters requiring more extended stay periods must utilize alternate parking location."
I couldn't find on the website were it mentioned how many day pass you can purchase at the kiosk, I bet it is still 7 days and you could probably park there without issue for all 7 days but that is a risk you have to decide if you want to take.

I went on Phil Foster Park website and does seems like they have a 24 hour maximum
It doesn’t seem like there’s many options down there for parking with a trailer for a week
