I just bought this cheap foldable antenna and now I’ve rabbit holed my way through “How to Mount in The Tower” I’ve got nothing other than a RAM mount diamond base with a coupler (google it) HELP!!EC0449B2-C88A-430B-80BB-2FC909E2C5CD.jpegEC0449B2-C88A-430B-80BB-2FC909E2C5CD.jpeg

I really like this style because you can screw it off and change the size when on larger bodies of water if needed and allows me to get into my garage.

Do you have a T Top? If so, how does it feed through?

I mounted it to one of the rod holders on the Ttop by drilling a hole through the starboard rod holder to accommodate the mounting screw. I removed the base plate and used the bolt to attach the ratchet piece to the Ttop and then ran the cable through the ttop frame on the right- had to drill a couple of holes in the frame and a frustrating cable snaking process. Mimmics the factory installed wires on the port side of the ttop that run to the nav light. Will post pics after i get home tonight and take some.

Here is how I mounted mine. I removed the bottom mounting bracket and used the bolt that held the swingarm onto the plate to bolt the antenna holder onto the rod holder, then ran the cable alongside the Ttop tubing and drilled a hole into the Ttop and snaked the cable down to the center console. (Mimics the port Ttop wiring) I used a cable protector and grommets to avoid damage to the cable from vibration. I decided to mount the lowrance unit on top so that I can remove it to prevent theft.
This gets me an extra 5ft above mounting it to the gunwale or rod holders Effectively turning it into a 13ft antenna.

Did not see those. Top rail is one and a quarter inch I believe so that would do nicely. I recommend you go with that :)

Here is the Shakespeare I used it for the 8' antenna and the GPS antenna and have had no problems. The 8' folds down lower than the rod
holders so hight wise it works out perfect.BF754502-4CC2-4A3F-8EAA-89044E7C8366.jpeg38A3EFB8-58C5-485F-A031-5F957E88E53A.jpegCAA49336-5169-4344-9643-B25339550540.jpeg

No parts list the top pic is the mount for the GPS. I just mounted it sideways and adjusted it up 90 degrees the GPS is the same thread. It went right up through the rod holder hole.
Both mounts are Shakespeare 4188SL SS Rail mount ratchet for 1-1.5" rail4E82BD4E-8613-4078-9537-11189CAE3047.png

Where did you find that bracket? I'm thinking about installing my VHF Radio on one of the bars over the center console.
Nevermind...I found it, and an alternative, based on pole diameter:
Folbe Universal Rail Mount Kit - Fits 1.5" to 2" Round Rails:
Folbe Universal Rail Mount Kit - Fits 1.040"-1.35" Round Rails:
The tower pole diameter in my 195 FSH Sport is 1.34", so the later will be my best choice.
