I don't think so, my anchor light has brackets in the starboard under seat storage. The light would never fit length-wise in these brackets and fit in the compartment. We may never know what they were intended for!I had a test drive on an '04 back in like '07 or so. I remember the dealer at the time pointing those out. If memory serves me, they were used to hold the anchor light/pole in place for quick/easy access if the compartment was full of other gear.

That’s kind of what I was thinking they could be used for but look small for a light pole. I’d probably do as most as doing with them though and use it to nearly hold ropes and such and just toss the light pole under one of the under seat or head storage compartments.
One thing I like about the older Yamaha boats was the side rear storage on top of the “hump”. The new ones should still have that for storage.
