I'm loving these 25 footers. I love my 242 but this gives me a tinge of envy!
242's are beautiful also, and what made me originally fall in love with Yamaha. I lusted over a 242 for about four years before finally decided to pull the trigger last June (totally unrelated to Covid, but thought Covid might help me get a better deal...oops). Come to find out, I had missed the run on boats by a few weeks and couldn't find one in stock anywhere. By July, I got wind that the 24 ft boats were going to be re-designed so I just sat tight. I put my deposit on this 252SE in August when they were first unveiled and was lucky enough to get it in mid-September, been loving it ever since.
It's called the Blu3 Nemo. Basically a 10ft hose with a floating compressor that only runs when you breathe in and it runs off a battery. It will last a bit over an hour. You really need a weight belt just like a scuba setup. Weights in my pocket didn't cut it. I bought two on Black Friday and this was the first time we used them. Very cool!
