One picture of your last outing.

Went to Crab Island today & played for a while then went out into the Gulf to see if we could spot some dolphins & were fortunate enough to see a few. Headed back into the bay & did some sight seeing & checking out different boats. Kids are getting drained fast having fun in the FL sun.

Friday in Chattanooga on Chickamauga. Beautiful day. Got windy and ugly looking around 5:30 pm so we put it back in dry dock. Going out Monday too after school, it will be 82 and not a drop in sight.

First ono of the year, caught yesterday just south of the Sheraton in Kailua Kona. Between 350 and 400 feet of water. Please excuse the blood!View attachment 146664
Dude, that water color is amazing.

I would lose my collective cool if I had that much blood on my boat.

Can't imagine owning a boat and living in the tropics. Must be amazing!

First trip of the season! Water was a little cold but the weather was really nice, glass calm water both days.

Trip was going too good so it was natural to blow a trailer tire on the Laughlin bridge

It is nice having a boat here. I find I don't use it as much as I thought I would. Having been a fresh water only boater, I find the amount of effort required to clean the boat after each use to be a deterent. Also, there are almost no beaches and no sand bars to hang out at - you get to 5000 feet of water within a 1/2 mile or less from shore.

The water colors are amazing, it is really cool to see whales and dolphins and manta rays and the occasional shark - but I miss fresh water boating way more than I thought I would!

The blood comes off of the seadek very easily! And, very little gets past the swim deck!

Got the boat out today to make sure all was well before the season started. My center ballast pump wouldn't turn on. Found the plug not quite seated fully back by the batteries. Worked fine after that. Did a little floating, little fishing, and a lot of junk food eating with my little boy. Was just me and him today. We didn't catch anything, but it was fun just being out on the boat again.
