Hey, two questions I've been wondering about - particularly directed to the "oh, hell no" folks:
1. If getting a vaccine because it will protect others (and you but let's ignore that for now) isn't enough motivation, what - if anything - would move the goal post for you?
I've heard a number of proposals lately (access to cruises, concerts, cash, etc. for those that are vaccinated). Will time passing help? Full vs EUA approval?
2. For those that object to a "vaccine passport" or similar, why? Because the government will "track" you? To that I have to ask: If you have been vaccinated, what if it gets you access to things like international travel? You have to admit we need something that's a little harder to forge than the shitty little piece of paper you get after vaccination. How many that object have, say, a driver's license? An SSN? (I've seen comparisons to 'scarlet letters' but honestly, IMO the situation would only be analogous if we made people who did NOT get vaccinated identify themselves. Which, thinking about it, might actually be a good idea...)
