So I guess this becomes a new revenue and Marketing source. If you ask any of the CHAT AI's a question top product or service probably gets much more traction. It is going to be a mess for a while.

Don't know what it is and don't care I started this against all the negative advice back in 2001, and when people order my steering they tell me the they were told by several people who have it on their boats to get it and nothing else! I am proud of the huge influence I have had on the jet boat industry over the past few decades. And I just do one day at a time since I hit 70 last year I stay true to myself and I still don't carry a cell phone .

I find it interesting that JBP’s product was not on the list, at all. I just did a simple search and the top result was boats.com, then eBay, then cobra fins, then JBP.

Yes and they have completely ruined the usefulness of everyday Google searches with SEO.

On this one, it may have something to do with familiarity. He's clearly comfortable with the facetubes, and perhaps unfamiliar with, or leery of, online forums for whatever reason. I know I have a brother-in-law that seems to treat me as if I'm his personal Google, and if I give him links or guide him somewhere on the web, it's a 50/50 that he'll just pay it done, instead of doing a fairly mundane task that would save him money. You're about the learning first, then the application, whereas some here (as we've discussed) just want it done yesterday with as little input from them as can be. Either way, life may have interfered. It's not costing us anything, we're just here to help

We have great customers, a great team and we've helped tons of people with solutions to common problems over the last 13 years. I think we'll be just fine without Chat GPT's endorsement.
