Went down on the 26th and met up with Kurtley Peterson, and his grandson Drayson and friend Fernando. We camped in Red canyon. Got camp set up and started fishing around 11:00. It was good from the start and I stayed close at Dungees islands and the Island I camped on last year that Kirtley...

Any of you who live down that way might want to think about getting over to LP to do some striper fishing.. that thread is one of three that I read about folks getting into the stripers. I’ve only had limited experience catching stripers but I can tell you if you have not and get into them, especially with a jig it is unlike anything you have ever experienced! It is some fast action for sure! The only other experience I’ve had that comes close is getting into a school of crappie.

In the future I’ll change the title to Striped Bass ?. Gotta love the every 8 second thing…hmmmm maybe I can find some strippers that want to go fishing. If I do I’ll get some action shots for y’all.

Sounds like you're just gonna add to the confusion, unless you don't have snapper in your area ?

Best I can do at the moment… this was from Inside Sport fishing… there were three hotties fishing..
