2013 SX240 middle windshield install

Bought new windshield because boat did not have one, ordered part number F1T-U517R-00-00 PIN HINGE, it is much longer than the windshield? How does the pin hinge get installed? Also what prevents the windshield from sliding up and down?

Sorry, no help from me....the parts schematic shows the window as a complete kit.....although you can by the pin hinge separately, it doesn't show how it attaches to either side....is it bendable? Do you perhaps bend each end to prevent it from going up and down?????

This is the diagram I used to buy...I purchased #5 but # 8 the pin was sold separate...I thought too maybe it was meant to be bent? Anyone want to check their middle window for me?

I replaced that panel in my 2016 AR240 due to a bent lip, I was able to reuse the pin which is strait (IIRC), held down with a bolt. It's a goofy install, but was not difficult, I can check tomorrow and take some pics.
