Very nice boat. Glad to hear you are happy with it.

What's your top speed?
Do you feel you found a good dealer with jet boat knowledge?

Looks like a sweet ride! I like the boarding ladder being off to the side in the stern. Not sure I'd like having black anywhere on the seating surfaces (at least here in NC) but other than that she looks solid. Tell us more about the engines....good fuel economy?

The primary drawback over a Yamaha that I'd miss would be the clean out ports, especially as I have my boat on a lift in a slip.

WOW! That's a nice looking boat, a 243 should be a 55mph+ vessel.
Congratulations!

Are you past the 10 hour break-in? I'm very satisfied with my twin 250's now that I'm past the 10 hour mark.

So how fast is it??? Totally beautiful! On my list for next boat....just need to wait for a bigger slip to be available at the one and only marina on my lake.

Top speed in @ChrisM dash picture reads 62 MPH. Interested in seeing the response to the performance

You'll love it. I've got a 223 with only twin 150's and still love mine. Except mine is all shrink wrapped up now for about 4 moe months. Where you at? Looks cold but drivable.

How's the engine noise level at moderate cruising speeds? Say 30 mph or so? EAsy to have a conversation or requires shouting?

The noise level on our boat is much better than what I expected going into the Jet world. We can easily talk and be heard across the boat. Kids usually sit up front and I can hear them while driving. I like to say the noise level is more like a loud hummm. You hear it, but it is not obtrusive.

BobJohnson,

How do you like the twin 150s? 300 hp is still nothing to sneeze at.

Another nice feature of the Chaparral is along with ballast they offer a surf option that extends the rear deck and reduces jet wash. HELLO YAMAHA...anyone listening?
