I have noticed from looking at a few late model (2024-2025) 250/252s that the port side storage door doesn’t appear to be aligned correctly; said another way the vertical gap is not consistent. Example below.

Has anyone experienced this and if so, is it the result of alignment or perhaps a bad mold?

Furthermore if you took delivery of a boat and noticed this, how was it remedied?

Not my boat, but a friend just got a '23 252 with this same issue that I noticed. He's fine with it for some reason, I didn't have a chance to look too closely into it, but it seemed like there's a hinge issue, or placement, which would seem to be a mold issue

I don't think he will be addressing it, but whenever I get a chance, I will be taking a closer look at it

I bought a ‘25 252SD and the door didn’t fit nearly as well as the one pictured. I pointed it out when I took delivery and they tried to adjust it and offered to replace it under warranty, but I told them I’d see what I could do first. If you look closely at your picture, you’ll notice the top of the door isn’t flush with the adjacent surface either. Again, mine was much worse.

There was a tiny bit of adjustment with hinge pins, but not nearly enough. What I’ve done so far was to open the door and place a 3 or 4”piece of 1” PEX (?) in the drainage channel at the top and towards the front of the door. Closing the door lifts the top of the door, making it flush with the adjoining surface and moved the bottom of the door into position. The door fits really well now and I’m just waiting to see if the summer heat helps to reshape the door. My boats in storage, but I can add a pic later if that’d help.

We just bought a 2024 252s and our door also looks like that. Haven't addressed it yet. Been taking care of other, more important quality control issues like loose grab rails, loose interior side panels and 3 non op USB charging ports.

Thanks for the feedback thus far. The dealership knows it’s a concern of mine. Wanted to know how others have remedied.
